Bachelor of Science in Cooperatives and Agri Business Management

The Bachelor of Science in Cooperatives and Agri-Business Management at Ndejje University equips students with skills for managing agricultural enterprises and cooperative organizations. The program focuses on agribusiness development, value addition, and efficient management of agricultural resources. Students also develop abilities to apply agribusiness and cooperative management practices, manage agricultural value chains, and support development of cooperative societies and farmer groups.

Course modules are organised by academic year and semester. The program includes subjects such as Introduction to Co-operatives & Agri-Business Management, Business Economics, Business Mathematics, Management of Co-operatives, Marketing Management, and Intermediate Accounting. Other modules cover areas including Risk Management Theory and Practice, Poverty and Participatory Planning, Auditing Assurance Theory, and Customer Care and Clients Relationship Management. The duration is 3 years, and study mode is day study.

Direct Entry

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 2 principal passes.

Diploma Entry

• A relevant diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Cooperative Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.

Mature Age Entry

• Candidates must have passed a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination and be at least 25 years old.

International Applicants

• Qualifications equivalent to Uganda Advanced Level, with certified academic documents and proof of English proficiency where applicable.
