Bachelor of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

The Bachelor of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at Mbarara University of Science and Technology prepares students to oversee the creation and implementation of procurement systems and supply chains, and to scrutinize their efficiency. Procurement covers planning, selecting suppliers, and negotiating contracts for goods and services. Supply chain management coordinates information, finances, and materials from supplier to consumer.

The program focuses on procurement of goods, works, and services for entities that fulfill customers’ wants. Most course units cover both national and international issues, including units dealing with government and corporate transactions. It also includes content on e-procurement, green procurement, e-logistics, and procurement ethics.
