Diploma in Business Administration

The Diploma in Business Administration at Ndejje University equips students with essential knowledge and practical skills for business work. Students study management, marketing, accounting, human resource management, and entrepreneurship, supported by modules including Principles of Management, Introduction to Marketing, Financial Accounting, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship Development.

The course runs for 2 years with a Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 structure. It is delivered in Day/Weekend study mode and includes an Internship / Field Attachment. The curriculum also covers Business Communication, Business Mathematics, Business Law, Cost Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, and Research Methods.

Graduates are able to apply fundamental business and management principles, demonstrate practical skills in accounting, marketing, and human resource management, analyze business environments and make informed decisions, use business tools and technologies effectively, and show entrepreneurial skills for self-employment and job creation.

Direct Entry

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes
• Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 1 principal pass

Diploma Entry (Upgrade / Credit Transfer)

• Relevant certificate in Business Administration or related field, recognized by NCHE

Mature Age Entry

• A minimum score of 50% in a recognized Mature Age Entry Examination

International Applicants

• Secondary school completion equivalent to Uganda’s A-Level
• Academic documents must be equated where necessary
• Proof of English proficiency if prior education was not in English
