Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management

The Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management at Nkumba University focuses on knowledge and skills for middle and top management in medium/large private organisations and government. Students study broad management discourses and decision making, with an emphasis on formulating, articulating, implementing, and evaluating top decision making in medium and large organisations, including government.

The programme has one year of class study. It is designed to prepare senior-level public managers, or individuals who want to become public managers, with knowledge and values for effective and efficient service delivery systems in public administration. It also prepares graduates to serve as managers in the executive arm of central and local government, and in private sector and NGO agencies.
