About this program

The Master of Medicine and Master of Nursing at Mbarara University of Science and Technology is pursued through scholarship-supported study for two groups. Six students study Master of Medicine, specializing in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dermatology, pathology, and anesthesia. Sixteen students pursue Master of Nursing with specializations in critical care, mental health, and midwifery.

Scholarships are provided to support the expansion of human resource capacity to deliver quality healthcare services in Uganda. The scholarships cover full tuition and research fees. The scholarship award process includes award letters handed over to successful applicants by representatives including the Dean Faculty of Medicine, the Academic Registrar, Global Health Collaborative, and MUST.
