Master of Medicine in Ear Nose and Throat Duration 3 Years

The Master of Medicine in Ear, Nose and Throat at Mbarara University of Science and Technology is a specialized postgraduate medical degree for trained doctors. The programme is designed to train specialist surgeons in the diagnosis and surgical and medical management of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck region.

The programme runs for 3 years on a full-time basis. Entry is based on an honours degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, evidence of an Otolaryngology rotation with a minimum grade of B, and passed subjects of interest with a minimum grade of C, plus a one-page personal statement and an interview to determine aptitude.

• An applicant may earn bonus points if they have a one-year rotation in a surgical field and work experience within the field of Otolaryngology.

• Candidate should have a one-page personal statement indicating motivation for joining the Otolaryngology programme at MUST.
• Candidate may be interviewed to determine his/her aptitude.
