Master of Medicine in Emergency Medicine Duration 3 Years

The Master of Medicine in Emergency Medicine is a postgraduate medical specialization program that trains qualified physicians to become specialists, also called Emergency Physicians (EPs). Students study emergency-focused initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and patient disposition (triage) for acute illnesses or injuries that need immediate medical, surgical, or psychiatric care.

The program runs for 3 years on a full-time basis. It includes training aimed at rapid decision-making and stabilization during critical hours, with entry shaped by a pre-course exam where an excellent general knowledge base in medicine is assessed. Applicants also provide a detailed curriculum vitae and meet experience requirements relevant to Emergency Medicine.
