Master of Science in Economics

The Master of Science in Economics (MEC) at Gulu University is a postgraduate programme for students with a bachelor’s degree in economics-related areas such as Economics, Statistics, Banking, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, or Accounting, or a pass degree plus a postgraduate diploma in a related field. The programme code is MEC and the duration is 2 Years.

Students study on a weekday schedule, with an August intake. Tuition fees are listed per semester for East Africans and for non East Africans, and the programme structure is included as part of the programme information. Apply online.

• i) At least a Second Class Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Economics, Statistics, Banking, Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Finance or Accounting or its equivalent from a recognized Institution. OR Applicants with a Pass Degree must have at least a Second class Post graduate diploma in a related field or discipline obtained from arecognized Institution.
