Scholarship Description: The University of Leeds is offering 2 fully-funded and 11 partially-funded awards for international students for the academic year 2017-2018. Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate research programme.

About University: The School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering is one of the leading Electronic and Electrical Engineering schools in the UK with over 100 years’ experience in both teaching and research excellence.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate research programme.
Available Subject: There are 10 partially funded projects in the following areas: Communication, sensing and control, Electric power systems and applications, Quantum electronics and communications, Smart energy systems, Ultrasonics and embedded systems, Bio nanoelectronics, Communication networks and systems, Microwave technology, Rehabilitation robotics and Telectronics and photonics.
Scholarship Benefits: University has 2 fully-funded awards which cover the cost of fees and provides maintenance of £12,000. Funding duration is 3 years. A further 11 partially-funded awards cover the cost of £17,000 towards fee, no stipend but the opportunity to do paid work up to £3,000 for the 2018/19 academic year.
Eligible Nationalities: International students (excluding EU) can apply for these scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria: Applications are invited from candidates with or expecting a minimum of a UK upper second class honours degree (2:1), and/or a Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science degree.
Language Requirements: If English is not your first language, you must provide evidence that you meet the University’s minimum English Language requirements.
