UNESCO Poland Fellowship Coverage
The UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program provides the following benefits to recipients:
- Free tuition and access to university facilities in accordance with local regulations.
- Monthly scholarship of PLN 1500 for three-year higher education studies completed with a diploma, or PLN 2200 for those who have completed full higher education equivalent to Polish five-year master’s studies.
- Upon completion of the research studies, beneficiaries receive a certificate attesting to their attendance at the host institution.

UNESCO Poland Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proficiency in English (the required language).
- Citizenship in an invited Member State entitled to submit applications.
- Possession of at least a Bachelor’s (BS, BSc) or Master’s (MS, MSc) degree.
- Good health and age not exceeding 45 years (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
- Candidatures should be submitted through the candidate’s National Commission for UNESCO.
- Encouragement for youth and students from developing countries.
Application Process for UNESCO Poland Fellowship
Follow these steps to apply for the UNESCO Poland Fellowship Program:
- Complete the Online Application Form.
- Attach the following documents in duplicate:
- UNESCO fellowship application forms (all four pages) completed in English.
- Two 4×6 cm photographs attached to the applications.
- Certified copies (in English) of Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree/PhD certificates.
- UNESCO certificate of language knowledge, duly completed by a relevant authority (if English is not your mother tongue).
- Two letters of recommendation related to your work and qualifications.
- Submit the original application through your National Commission for UNESCO and email an advance copy to the provided addresses.
- Endorsed candidates should register on the Fellowship e-registration system.
- Only selected candidates will receive a letter through their National Commissions for UNESCO.
- The medical examination is required once UNESCO informs the candidate of their selection.
