Bachelor of Law Llb

The Dual Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme at the University of Dubai enables students to earn two law degrees on graduation: a UAE Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Dubai and a UK Bachelor of Laws (LLB) awarded by the University of London. Students study the UAE Civil Law system and the UK Common Law system through lectures, tutorials, assessments, legal research, academic materials, and moot court exercises.

The programme is full-time and delivered entirely in English at the University of Dubai campus, with no requirement to travel to or study in the United Kingdom. It is a 129-credit programme, structured in alignment with UAE Ministry of Education requirements and University of London academic standards. It is designed for students interested in pursuing a legal career, including research, legal writing, and advocacy.

• High school score 70% or above in Math

IELTS with an overall band score of 6.5, or TOEFL with a score of 109

• Corporate Lawyer in regional or multinational law firms
• Legal Consultant advising government entities and private-sector organisations
• In-house Legal Counsel within corporations, financial institutions and international companies
• Government Legal Advisor in ministries, regulatory authorities and public-sector entities
• Compliance Officer in regulated sectors such as finance, real estate, technology and international trade
• Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Specialist, including opportunities connected to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM)
• Solicitor in England and Wales through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) pathway, subject to meeting the applicable Solicitors Regulation Authority requirements
• Barrister in England and Wales, subject to completing the academic and vocational requirements established by the Bar Standards Board
• Postgraduate Legal Studies in the UAE, the United Kingdom and other international destinations, subject to the admission and recognition requirements of each institution or jurisdiction
