Doctor of Sport and Exercise Psychology Doc

Liverpool John Moores University offers the Doctor of Sport and Exercise Psychology DOC (Professional Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Psychology). The programme is designed to meet BPS Stage 2 accreditation requirements in Sport and Exercise Psychology and eligibility for HCPC registration as a Sport and Exercise Psychologist. Your studies include Planning Training in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Sport and Exercise Psychology Professional Practice, and Reflection in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

You study full-time over 27 months. The programme uses taught sessions primarily in the first year and includes extensive supervision, with two academic supervisors supporting your supervised practice throughout the duration. Learning is supported through work-based learning experiences, taught sessions, and supervision, and it includes bespoke CPD typically on selected Thursdays across the duration.
