University of Wales, Swansea’s MSc Advanced Computer Science gives Computer Science graduates or people with relevant experience from a previous undergraduate degree a range of specialist options. Students choose modules across artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies, operation systems, big data, and network security. Year one uses a set of 15-credit modules, and the second part includes a substantial project module.
The programme is campus based and organised with compulsory and optional module choices. Compulsory work includes Research Methods and a MSc Project in year two. Optional modules include Operating Systems and Architectures, Machine Learning, IT-Security, Forensics & Cryptography, Symbolic AI and Natural Language Processing, and Network, Wireless & Cloud Security.
