Abertay University Scholarships for BS, MS and PhD

The Abertay International Scholarship is an award of up to £3,000 per year for up to a maximum of four years, for prospective new international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students at Abertay University. Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.

The scholarship is aimed at prospective new international undergraduate and postgraduate taught students who meet Abertay’s classification as international (Overseas) fee status and meet academic conditions attached to their offer of admission. For postgraduate taught programmes, the page sets an entry requirement of an equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelors degree equivalent or better (approximately 60% and above).

Recipients are assessed based on the application for study, with no separate application form required. If eligible and awarded, applicants are notified by email following their offer of study, and applicants are asked to continue checking their inbox after receiving the offer.

The award contributes to each year of degree study, up to a maximum of four years, while studying in Dundee. The page also notes combination rules: it may be combined with Dean's Scholarship, Principal's Excellence Scholarship - Global, and Abertay IB30+ Scholarship, subject to checking combined total values. Abertay Alumni Discount is not available to international (overseas) fee paying students and cannot be combined with this scholarship.

• Must be classified as international (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University.
• Must have met all the academic conditions attached to the offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student studying an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree on campus.
• For postgraduate taught programmes: must apply with the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelors degree equivalent or better (approximately 60% and above).
• Must be studying in Dundee for the contribution to each year of degree, up to a maximum of four years.
• Students admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible.
