Birmingham City University England UK Undergraduate Merit Scholarships

Birmingham City University offers International Undergraduate Scholarships for applicants joining as self-funding international undergraduate students on a full-time degree. The scholarship is a guaranteed scholarship of £5,000 and is applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.

The scholarship is aimed at international undergraduate applicants who secure a place on an eligible full-time undergraduate degree course and then enrol at BCU. It covers full-time undergraduate degree courses, including the Graduate Entry LLB Law, and applies to those joining in January or September.

There are no extra forms to fill in. You receive the scholarship automatically once you enrol on an eligible course. If you apply for, and receive an offer for, an eligible course, the offer letter shows the scholarship details, and the tuition fee discount is applied to the tuition fee invoice after enrolment.

The tuition fee discount is £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two. The discount is applied after enrolment, and you will still need to pay 50% of the full tuition fee prior to receiving your CAS. Receiving one BCU scholarship is permitted; if eligible for more than one, the larger scholarship is automatically awarded.

• Excluded courses include: Fast-track/accelerated degrees.
• Excluded courses include: Part-time course.
• Excluded courses include: Professional Practice/CPD courses.
• Excluded courses include: Short courses (credit-bearing and non-credit-bearing).
• Excluded courses include: Apprenticeships.
• Excluded courses include: Study abroad or exchange programmes.
• Excluded courses include: Pre-sessional English courses.
