Durham University Sir Harry Evans Global Fellowship

The Sir Harry Evans Global Fellowship provides a nine-month fellowship with Durham University and Reuters for an investigative project. The Fellow is mentored by Reuters editors and gains access to Durham academics and research resources to develop rigorous, fact-based research and reporting skills.

The Fellow pursues the project from inside a Reuters newsroom in London, New York, Sydney, or Toronto, with additional support from colleagues in Durham’s Institute of Advanced Studies. The Fellow also delivers a public seminar at the IAS to share learnings from the Fellowship and support understanding of journalism at the University.

Selection is based on the Fellowship selection criteria, including professional journalism experience between two and five years, with some investigative reporting capacity in a related professional field considered on a case-by-case basis.
