Ferguson Scholarship

The Ferguson Scholarship at Aston University is supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust. Aston University says its purpose is to improve educational opportunities for students who would not otherwise be able to consider studying in the UK.

It is aimed at students applying for one of Aston University’s listed postgraduate taught programmes: MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences, MSc Drug Delivery, MSc Pharmacokinetics, MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Psychology (Conversion programme), MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery, MSc Addiction and Mental Health, MSc Bioinformatics and Genomic Medicine, and Master of Public Health.

Aston University asks applicants to submit an application for their chosen course and then complete the scholarship web form. The university says candidates must hold a conditional or unconditional offer, be from India or an African country, hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, and be self-funded; agency referred candidates are not eligible.

• Applicants must be self-funded students.
• Agency referred candidates are not eligible.

• Full tuition fee cover valued at £22,500.
• £6,000 contribution towards living costs.

3. Include the 9 digit application number beginning 25 in the scholarship form.
