Harry Nursten Scholarships at University of Reading

The Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences offers the Harry Nursten Postgraduate Scholarship to encourage students from under-represented groups to study food and nutritional sciences at postgraduate level. It can make an award up to the value of £5,000 each year and is tenable for one year. To apply, you must have received an offer of admission to a participating master’s course.

The scholarship is for eligible taught postgraduate courses in the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences: MSc Food Science, MSc Food Technology – Quality Assurance, and MSc Nutrition and Food Science. Applicants must be nationals and residents of the UK and be studying towards a postgraduate taught qualification in the department, either full-time or part-time.

Scholarship awards are given based on academic merit to applicants most in financial need.

Support is tenable for one year. Applications are required by the deadline stated for the year you intend to study.
