MESPOM Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarships

MESPOM is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM), coordinated by Central European University, with partner universities Central European University, Lund University, the University of Manchester and the University of the Aegean. MESPOM is supported by the Erasmus Mundus programme of the European Commission. The study programme is described as lasting 24 months and is worth 120 ECTS credits.

MESPOM invites applicants from all countries for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships. Scholarships are offered to outstanding students from both within and outside Europe. The consortium provides a programme that includes study at multiple host locations, including Central European University, the University of the Aegean, Lund University and the University of Manchester, as part of the consortium structure.

Admission is described as highly competitive and based on academic and intellectual excellence of applicants as well as their motivation and prior experience. Applicants are expected to have a good first degree related to environmental sciences, policy or management, and to demonstrate proficiency in English. Candidates with other first degrees may be considered if they show commitment to environmental challenges through voluntary or professional work.

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships cover travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs for the whole duration of the programme. MESPOM also admits students on a self-financing basis. For selected applicants, the programme requests proof of residency.

1. Central European University organizes the application process on behalf of the MESPOM Consortium.
2. Submit an online application for the MESPOM Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships via the online application form of CEU, including the necessary documents.
3. Use the deadline for individuals applying for Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships: 2026-01-07.
4. After selection, provide proof of residency when requested.
