The award is for self-funded international fee payers on eligible full-time postgraduate taught degree courses at Birmingham City University. It applies to students joining BCU on eligible intakes and excludes several course types, including postgraduate research, part-time study, BCU partner courses, distance learning, short courses, and pre-sessional English.

BCU says there is no separate scholarship application. Eligible students receive the scholarship automatically when they enrol on an eligible course. If a student is offered an eligible place, the scholarship appears in the offer letter, and the fee discount is applied after enrolment.

Eligibility

Be a self-funded international fee payer.
Secure a place on an eligible full-time postgraduate taught degree course.
Join Birmingham City University in the relevant intake.
Enrol at BCU and begin studies at BCU.
Be a first-time student joining BCU; students progressing from a BCUIC Pre-Master’s programme are not eligible.
