Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences international awards

Loughborough University describes the Excellence Scholarship as an award designed to reward high-achieving students pursuing a Master’s degree. The award is available for postgraduate taught programmes on its Loughborough and London campuses.

The scholarship is aimed at UK and international students applying to eligible master’s programmes starting in September or January at either campus. Eligible qualifications include full-time, part-time and distance learning MA, MSc, PG Diploma and PG Certificate, except programmes within the Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences departments and MBA programmes; MArch Architecture with UK fee status is also ineligible.

Selection is based on the student’s application and final degree result. Eligible applicants are self-funding and must obtain a first class degree (or international equivalent) and must not be in receipt of any other University award; the Excellence scholarship can only be combined with the Alumni discount.

The scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction credited to the student’s tuition fee account, with a different value for UK and international students.

• UK students: £3,000 off tuition fees, credited to the student’s tuition fee account.
• International students: £6,000 off tuition fees, credited to the student’s tuition fee account.
