UK Global Futures Scholarships at University of Manchester

The University of Manchester offers the Global Futures Scholarships to international students starting study in September. The university says the awards are merit-based and are designed to support overseas students joining its programmes.

The scholarship is open to undergraduate and master’s applicants from the countries listed by the university. It applies to full-time, on-campus courses in Manchester, and the university says the level of award, eligibility rules, and application deadlines vary by region.

To be considered, applicants must hold an offer from the university for a study place starting in September. The university says relevant offer-holders are emailed an online application form.

• You must be living in one of the countries listed by the University of Manchester: Bangladesh, Botswana, Canada, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vietnam, or Zimbabwe.
• You must hold an offer from the University of Manchester.
• The offer must be for a full-time, on-campus course in Manchester.
• You must be starting your studies in September.
• The scholarship is open to undergraduate students and master’s students.
• Taiwan is listed for postgraduate taught master’s only.

• The university says it offers awards totalling more than GBP 6 million.

1. Hold an offer of a study place at The University of Manchester for a course starting in September.
2. Wait for the online application form, which the university says is emailed to all relevant offer-holders.
3. Submit the online application form.
