University of Aberdeen Global Scholarships

The University of Aberdeen describes the Aberdeen Global Scholarship as an £8,000 partial tuition fee waiver for international on-campus postgraduate Masters students, designed to ease the costs associated with studying abroad.

The scholarship is available to self-funded full-time on campus Masters students classified as international fee status and starting their studies in Academic Years 25/26 and 26/27. It applies to both taught and research Masters. It is only available for Aberdeen campus students.

The scholarship does not require an application. The University states it is automatically applied to all eligible students and will be reflected on their CAS.

Support is provided as a tuition fee deduction: the £8,000 scholarship amount will be deducted from tuition fees.

• Must be registering for a full-time on campus programme.
• Must be an international fee status student.
• Must be self-funded (cannot be fully sponsored and cannot be in receipt of fully funded external scholarships or other University of Aberdeen scholarships).
• Exemption: eligible even if receiving awards granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust.
• Must be an Aberdeen campus student.
• Programme level: Masters (taught or research).
• Must start in Academic Years 25/26 or 26/27.
• Exclusions: does not apply to DPLP, PGDE, or Dentistry.
