University of Bradford UK Academic Excellence Scholarships

The University of Bradford is offering cash scholarships worth up to £3,000 (over the duration of a three-year degree) to Home students who meet two criteria: achieving AAA or higher in their A-levels (or equivalent), and being from a low participation area as defined by POLAR 4 in quintile areas 1 and 2. The scholarship covers full-time undergraduate degree programmes. Students with an undergraduate degree programme for more than three years would receive funding for the additional years subject to satisfactory progression, excluding any years where reduced fees are paid, such as a sandwich year. The page also states there is no limit to the number of scholarships available and eligible students will receive the award.

Selection is automatic: students do not need to apply and are assessed for the scholarship automatically if they meet the criteria. • Domicile/qualification outside listed countries: If a combination of three Level 3 qualifications is not listed or the country of domicile or qualification is not listed, eligibility can be checked by email.
• Existing degree: Students who already hold a degree cannot be considered for the scholarship.
• Transfers between universities: Students who transfer to the university from another university will not be eligible unless they transfer into stage 1 of their programme (foundation year or first year).
• Applicable study: All full-time undergraduate courses.
