University of Lincoln Turkey Scholarship

The University of Lincoln’s Turkey Scholarship is designed to help students from across Turkey access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in September or January.

The scholarship is for prospective students from Turkey studying a full-time postgraduate taught programme at the University of Lincoln. A conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Lincoln for the relevant postgraduate taught programme is required for eligibility.

Selection is based on eligibility criteria set out by the University of Lincoln, including nationality or permanent residence and academic qualifications. The scholarship amount is determined automatically based on whether the student meets the stated classification criteria, with a route for students joining a Pre-Master’s programme to receive the scholarship when moving onto the main programme.

The tuition fee discount is awarded during the first year of study. The University of Lincoln also states that eligible students may be eligible for an additional tuition fee discount of £1,000 through its Advance Full Payment Discount, and that international scholarship provision may change under its terms and conditions.

• Nationality: must be a national of Turkey.
• OR permanent residence: must have permanent residence in Turkey.
• Must hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September or January.
• Automatic award level (either applies):
  • A £5,000 tuition fee discount is automatically awarded to students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification; or completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University.
  • A £4,000 tuition fee discount is automatically awarded to students who have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution with at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification; or completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University.
• Pre-Master’s pathway: students joining a Pre-Master’s programme will be entitled to receive the scholarship when they move onto their main programme.
• Application: application required is “No”.
• Study level: Postgraduate (Taught).
• Fees status: Overseas.
• Mode of study: Full-Time.
• Regional entry requirements: details are provided via the applicant’s country webpage for entry requirements equivalent to a 2:1 or 2:2 classification.
• Advance Full Payment Discount: eligibility for an additional £1,000 tuition fee discount may apply, subject to the Advance Full Payment Discount criteria.
• Additional terms: University of Lincoln International Scholarship Terms and Conditions apply, and the University of Lincoln reserves the right to amend scholarship provision without notice.

• Tuition fee discount: £4,000 to £5,000, awarded as a tuition fee discount during the first year of postgraduate taught study.
• Advance Full Payment Discount (additional possibility): tuition fee discount of £1,000 (eligibility depends on criteria described under Advance Full Payment Discount).
