WMG Excellence Scholarships - up to 50% off

WMG Excellence Scholarships are merit-based awards funded by WMG at the University of Warwick. WMG says the scheme is intended to support excellence and diversity of perspective within its learning environment.

The scholarships are for students who hold an offer for a full-time MSc course in the WMG department and are self-funded. Award levels are available for International fee-paying students and UK fee-paying students across the WMG MSc portfolio.

WMG Scholarship Committee judges applications on past academic achievements, professional experience, motivations, and vision for the future. Applications are reviewed in four rounds and candidates are informed according to the application round they are placed in.

Scholarship awards are conditional for applicants with conditional offers and depend on achieving the awardee's final predicted grade. The awards are paid towards tuition fees only, and recipients must inform the scholarship committee if they receive another scholarship or other funding later.

• Hold an offer to study on a WMG full-time MSc course starting in September.
• Have an excellent academic track record and/or a strong professional profile.
• Be a self-funded student.
• Students with partial bursaries, scholarship-loan schemes, or partial external funding may also be considered.
• For conditional offer-holders, achieve the awardee's final predicted grade.

• Tuition fee awards of £5,000, £10,000, or £15,000 for International fee-paying students.
• Tuition fee awards of £2,000, £3,500, or £5,000 for UK fee-paying students.
• Paid towards tuition fees only.
• Cannot be paid in cash or towards accommodation or maintenance costs.
• Reflected on the CAS for visa application purposes.

1. Apply within four weeks of receiving the offer.
2. Applications are reviewed by the WMG Scholarship Committee in four rounds.
3. Wait for the results to be communicated according to the application round.
