Acquisition and Contract Administration Certificate

The University of West Florida offers an Acquisition and Contract Administration Graduate Certificate focused on the public contracting life cycle. Coursework covers planning, solicitation, selection, negotiation, award, post-award administration, and close-out. Students also study the legal and theoretical basis of public purchasing and acquisitions within the larger government structure.

Classes are delivered completely online. The program requires 9 credit hours, with a course length of 8 weeks and an estimated program length of 2 semesters. Students complete individual work products and team-based interactions that apply course knowledge to real-world circumstances.

This certificate can be used as part of the MSA in Public Administration program requirements. Graduate non-degree seeking students may complete the certificate independently, and credits may be applied toward the degree if they later enroll.
