Automotive Collision Repair and Refinish Technology Diploma

The Automotive Collision Repair and Refinish Technology Diploma at Southeastern Community College trains students for entry-level work in the automotive collision repair industry. The program includes instruction in collision repair fundamentals such as disassembly and reassembly of collision-damaged vehicles, part alignment following OEM repair procedures, and small dent repair, including body filler, sanding, and paint primer application.

Students also complete an internship in a local facility to apply the technical training they learned. The program uses I-CAR techniques and procedures and includes hands-on experience in SCC’s lab facility, with tools and equipment used for mechanical, electrical, refinishing, structural, non-structural, and calibration-related repair methods.
