Business Analytics Graduate Certificate

The Business Analytics Graduate Certificate helps students learn the role of analytics as a data-driven decision support toolbox for managers in various business environments. The curriculum focuses on applying business analytics to managerial decision-making scenarios, with emphasis on data integrity and data privacy. Students complete work connected to data mining, research planning, data collection, and reporting recommendations.

The program is fully online and uses a compact, comprehensive curriculum delivered through required courses. Students complete the required prerequisite course and then the required 12 credit hours, earning a grade of C or higher in each required course. The certificate requires a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the course required by the certificate. Successful completion prepares graduates to develop data-driven analytical solutions for complex business decision making problems.

To be considered for admission into the University of West Florida’s online Business Analytics Certificate program, you must be admitted into the University as a graduate non-degree seeking student.

• Required courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
• Students must secure a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the course required by the certificate.
• Once all prerequisites are met, the certificate requires completion of the required courses.
