Cybersecurity PhD

The University of Idaho offers a Cybersecurity Ph.D. in the College of Engineering. The program covers advanced topics across cybersecurity, including cryptography, network defense, IoT, threat intelligence, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and artificial intelligence in security. Students investigate and help innovate new solutions through complex theories, algorithms, and methodologies.

Research is hands-on, with students engaging in cybersecurity investigations and advanced study to anticipate adversarial behavior. The program is designed for independent research, and it can lead to opportunities to teach cybersecurity. The degree is 78 credits and is located in Moscow.
