Doctorate Educational Leadership

Saint Mary’s College of California offers a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) for Equity and Social Change. The curriculum centers equity and prepares leaders to understand the causes and consequences of systemic injustice, with a focus on addressing inequities that affect students, parents, and teachers.

The program uses an innovative hybrid format with virtual and on-campus learning. It is cohort-based and designed as a carefully sequenced set of courses. Courses ask learners to apply theory and research to their own practice, and students complete all degree requirements, including the dissertation, in three years. The program is supported by small class sizes and networking opportunities.
