The BSN to DNP program in the College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions is designed for nurses who already hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Students complete a doctor of nursing practice degree after progressing through a master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner concentration.
Coursework is offered mostly online. Students must attend a required session of on-campus activities before the program start. At the conclusion, students complete a synthesis project where they identify an issue in the practice setting and apply research-based evidence to improve patient care or practice outcomes.
To be eligible for the post-master’s DNP program, participants must already hold a master’s of nursing degree with APRN certification or nurse executive/administration.
Nurses who are accepted into the BSN to DNP program will start classes in August.
Intakes are in August.
