Economics BBA

The Economics BBA studies how a society uses limited resources to produce, trade, and consume goods and services. The program emphasizes that economics is broader than money or business and applies to issues involving individuals, families, and entire countries. Students learn to collect data and conduct quantitative analysis, create decision-making models, and address ethical issues connected to stewardship of resources, the biblical view of money, and the study of poverty and social issues.

The program includes faculty-mentors who support students in preparing for professional work. Students gain experience through competitive internships, consulting projects, and service-learning. Opportunities also include study abroad programs in Central America, participation in Balance Your Bucs, and mock interviews with members of the local business community.

Graduates are prepared for positions in private and government agencies. Roles include financial forecasting and budget analysis, marketing and consumer research, and investment analysis and financial planning, in for-profit and not-for-profit employers.
