Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate

The Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate at the University of West Florida is an online program that teaches students how to recognize and develop new venture ideas and synthesize them into a well-structured business plan. Students study foundational business principles and complete coursework in launching new ventures, venture development and growth, and product design.

Completion requires 9 credit hours with a C or better after prerequisites. The certificate course length is 7 weeks, with an estimated program length of under 12 months. Students create a business plan for a new business venture and consult with a small business to assess a real business problem and generate a plan with solutions.

To be considered for admission to the University of West Florida’s online Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate program, you must be admitted to the University as a graduate non-degree seeking student.

Once all prerequisites are met, the certificate in entrepreneurship requires completion nine credit hours with a C or better. Students must secure a combined grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the course required by the certificate.
