Finance Bs Ric

The Business Transfer, Finance BS (Associate in Arts, RIC) is a JAA transfer program that provides foundational knowledge in finance, economics, business management, and quantitative analysis. Students complete general education and major requirements that include communication, economics, statistical analysis, financial accounting, business computing applications, management, marketing, business writing, and macroeconomics.

The program can be completed at any campus, or fully online. If completed at the Flanagan (Lincoln) Campus, Liston (Providence) Campus, or Newport County Campus, students take one or more courses online. The program totals 60 hours and includes work-based learning courses within the required plan. Students also complete elective coursework within general education and major-support options.

Through the JAA program, eligible students receive an Associate’s degree and enter the receiving institution with 60 credits and Junior status. The program is designed to help students transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree in finance with two additional years of full-time study, along with personalized advising and a tuition discount of up to 30% based on GPA.

This program is part of the Joint Admissions Agreement (JAA). Students must be eligible for the JAA program: they have earned less than 30 college credits at the time of joining and have not attended any other college or university.
