About this program

The Architecture (B.S.) at Gannon University is a studio-based, pre-professional program that combines creative studio design with technical exploration of professional practices, systems, and innovations. Students learn hand and digital drawing and modeling, and study the technical, environmental, and social foundations of architecture through courses such as building systems and professional practice, plus community-engaged design.

Course topics include Studio Foundations, Architectural and Urban History, Digital Visualization, Building Technology, Hybrid 3D Fabrication, and Ecological Design. Students also take architectural design studios focused on on-site analysis, ethics and the community, and redesign and adaptive reuse with design firm partners. Study is on campus.
