The University of Idaho General Management MBA is a Master of Business Administration focused on general management. Students complete 39 credits, including 27 credits of core courses and 12 credits of interdisciplinary electives. Core topics include the economic context of business, financial management, assessing data to improve firm performance, strategic management, strategic marketing, strategic cost management, leading in organizations, entrepreneurial innovation, and AI-driven operations and supply chain management.
The program is fully online with accelerated 8-week courses. Each course includes four live evening Zoom sessions for engagement with professors and peers. The program runs year-round on a continuous calendar divided into five terms: early fall, late fall, early spring, late spring and summer. Students typically follow a full-time track with two courses per 8-week term or a part-time track with one course per 8-week term.
