This graduate certificate program in cardiovascular nursing is designed for nurse practitioners who want to specialize in heart-related health care. Students focus on diagnosing and treating heart-related medical conditions such as angina, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and hypertension, working with cardiology-trained clinicians.
Students complete 12 credit hours through three consecutive accelerated sessions: a half term in the spring, a summer intercession, and a summer semester.
