Health Sciences, B.S. – Behavior Analysis at the University of West Florida is an online bachelor’s degree that prepares you to use the science of behavior within health sciences settings. The curriculum includes general education, health sciences core coursework, and major courses that cover topics such as medical terminology, legal fundamentals of healthcare, health informatics, human physiology, gerontology, pharmacology, human disease, and behavior analysis foundations, assessment, methods, and intervention.
The program is fully online and includes a total of 120 credit hours. The major includes 60 credit hours and includes 15 credit hours of approved elective classes. You also complete common prerequisites with a grade of C or better prior to graduation. The estimated program length is 48 months, with a course length of 8 weeks. After completing the degree, you may meet curriculum requirements to apply for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and the Qualified Autism Services Provider Supervisor (QASP-S) certification exams.
