Hospitality Tourism Management Certificate

The Hospitality Tourism Management Certificate is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge for successful careers in hospitality and tourism. Students complete courses that cover hospitality business organization and management, effective listening and communication for customer and coworker interactions, resolving guest complaints, and the coordination of front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house food and beverage operations.

Students also study hospitality and tourism marketing, human resource management in service organizations, and hospitality law. The program includes a variety of tasks and projects, and an internship is highly encouraged. The program may be completed fully online, and the total course hours are 18.
