Human Performance Improvement Certificate

The Human Performance Improvement Graduate Certificate at the University of West Florida helps you apply research-based best practices to identify organizational performance improvement challenges and opportunities. You also study systems thinking and management skills to support organizational solutions. Coursework examines organizational performance from a solution-neutral position, including how instruction may not always be the most appropriate means of improving individual and organizational performance.

The program is fully online, with web-based course materials you can use to interact with your instructor and other students. It requires nine credit hours, completed through three required courses. The course length is eight weeks, with an estimated program length of twelve months. Completion requires earning a C or better in the certificate courses and a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

This certificate supports advancement in careers across business, healthcare, public and private education, military, and non-profit sectors. The program lists job titles such as Business Operations Specialists, Training and Development Specialists, and Career and Technical Education Teachers.

To be considered for admission to the University of West Florida’s online Human Performance Improvement Graduate Certificate program, you must be admitted to the University as either a degree-seeking or non-degree-seeking graduate student.
