The Journalism BA transfer degree at Community College of Rhode Island builds fundamental reporting skills. Students create written work that addresses a context and target audience, and they communicate through oral presentations and visual presentations. Coursework also covers media production, including work across radio to television, print, and digital media, with experiential learning through practicing news reporting.
The program totals 61 credit hours and includes general education and major requirements.
