The Business Transfer, Management BS - Associate in Arts (RIC) is a transfer-focused program that covers management principles and business operations, with coursework in communication, marketing behavior, financial accounting, managerial accounting, business computing, principles of management, principles of marketing, and human resources management. It also includes general education courses such as communication fundamentals, composition, microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistical analysis, and elective courses in subjects like literature, world languages, history, philosophy, and art/music/theatre.
Students complete a total of 61 credit hours. The program can be completed at any campus and requires one or more courses completed online; it may also be completed fully online. Through the Joint Admissions Agreement pathway, students complete requirements for an Associate’s degree and enter Rhode Island College with 60 credits and Junior status, and can complete the bachelor’s degree in management in two additional years of full-time study.
