Management Development Certificate

The University of West Florida offers an online Management Development Undergraduate Certificate for students who want a foundation in management and the use of resources to achieve organizational goals. Learners study management fundamentals and build skills such as recognizing management activity and approaches, analyzing managerial decision-making problems, and articulating solutions to managerial problems.

The program is designed around required coursework totaling 12 credit hours. Students take MAN 3025 - Management Fundamentals and three additional MAN 3000/4000 level courses, selected with an academic advisor from the Department of Management and MIS. The course length is 15 weeks, with an estimated program length of 12 months.

To be considered for admission into the University of West Florida’s online Management Development Undergraduate Certificate program, you must be admitted into the University as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student.

The program requires completion of the following courses with a grade of C or higher: MAN 3025 - Management Fundamentals and three additional (MAN) 3000/4000 level courses. The three additional courses must be from the Department of Management and MIS and must be junior or senior-level courses.
