The Master of Science in Medical Genomics at St. Mary’s University is a 30-credit-hour online program that prepares students to decode the human genome and apply that understanding to real-world healthcare challenges. Students study precision medicine by examining how inherent genetic variations affect disease, medical treatments, responses to drugs, and other medical outcomes.
The program includes a capstone project that aligns with the student’s interests. Courses are delivered online asynchronously, with optional synchronous online sessions and access to faculty office hours availability. All courses from the 13-credit-hour Graduate Certificate in Medical Genomics may be applied toward the M.S. for students who continue their studies.
