Master Nonprofit Administration

The Master of Nonprofit Administration is offered through an accelerated bachelors-to-masters pathway between Saint Mary’s College and the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Students complete a bachelor’s degree in any field at Saint Mary’s (other than Business Administration) and then pursue the Master of Nonprofit Administration.

The master’s program is completed in one academic year. Saint Mary’s students are accepted into the Master of Nonprofit Administration during the early application period (typically September) for an anticipated August start date. Admission requires a bachelor’s degree completed by August, a specified minor or major, a minimum overall GPA, and a deposit within the stated timeframe after formal notification.

To be admitted, students must satisfy all of the following criteria:

• complete a bachelor’s degree at the College by the month of August, preceding the program’s August start date that same month
• complete one of the following:
  • Minor in justice studies
  • Minor in social work
  • Major in social work
• achieve an overall minimum GPA of 3.5
• pay the deposit for admitted students to Notre Dame 30 days after formal notification of admission
