Master of Accounting At Loyola University Maryland

The Master of Accounting (MAcc) at Loyola University Maryland is available to eligible Stonehill College undergraduate accounting students through a fast track admission agreement. Fast track applicants must be currently enrolled at Stonehill College as an undergraduate student with a major in Accounting and have completed specific accounting courses: BUS 203 Financial Accounting, BUS 204 Managerial Accounting, BUS 311 Intermediate Accounting I, BUS 312 Intermediate Accounting II, and BUS 417 Auditing.

Fast track admission requires an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all Accounting major courses at the time of application. Applicants are encouraged to apply after completion of the second semester of their junior year. Admission is based on submission of official transcripts at application and final official transcripts after graduation. Benefits include a 15% tuition discount (Summer start term and beyond), a waived application fee, waived essay, and waived letter of recommendation.

Fast Track admission to the Loyola MAcc requires the following:

• Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at Stonehill College with a major in Accounting, including the following specific courses:
• BUS 203 – Financial Accounting
• BUS 204 – Managerial Accounting
• BUS 311 – Intermediate Accounting I
• BUS 312 – Intermediate Accounting II
• BUS 417 – Auditing
• Overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and minimum GPA of 3.0 for all Accounting major courses at the time of application
• Satisfactory completion of remaining undergraduate degree coursework, maintaining the minimum GPA requirements noted above

Students are encouraged to apply for Fast Track admission to the MAcc program after completion of the second semester of their junior year. An official transcript will be required at the time of application, and final acceptance will be dependent upon receipt of official final transcripts upon graduation from Stonehill College. Final transcripts must reflect the criteria stated above.
