Master of Science in Accountancy At University of Notre Dame

This Master of Science in Accountancy is part of an admission agreement that helps Stonehill College undergraduate students apply to the Master of Science in Accountancy program at the University of Notre Dame. Eligibility is based on a cumulative GPA and accounting prerequisite GPA, with prerequisites that include Accountancy I (Financial Accounting), Accountancy II (Managerial Accounting), Measurement and Disclosure I (Intermediate Accounting I), Measurement and Disclosure II (Intermediate Accounting II), Audit & Assurance Services, and Federal Taxation.

If an applicant does not meet the required prerequisites for the Master of Science in Accountancy program, the student must complete the Accounting Immersion Program (AIP) term. Admission also requires two letters of recommendation, with one letter preferred to come from the Dean or Department Chair, though this is not required; faculty letters are accepted in place of a recommendation from the Dean or Department Chair.

• Two letters of recommendation. It is preferred that one of the two required letters of recommendation comes from the Dean or Department Chair, though not required. Faculty recommendation letters are acceptable in lieu of a recommendation from either the Dean or Department Chair.
