The Master of Science in Applied Science and Technology with the concentration in Computer Systems and Network Technology focuses on computer networking and management. It provides advanced study in implementing and managing information technology, with hardware and software experiences for designing, implementing, administering, monitoring, optimizing, and maintaining data communication and computer networking systems in industry.
Degree completion requires 36 credit hours of coursework and a thesis or non-thesis project, plus an oral defense for progression. Students complete 12 hours of required core credits, 6 hours of research course credits, and 18 hours of restricted electives. The program has two academic tracks: Thesis Track and Non-Thesis Track.
