Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational

The Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Florida Southern College prepares students to apply psychology to workplace settings. The curriculum includes Statistics and Research Methods I, Industrial Psychology, and Statistics and Research Methods. Students work on program projects through an engaged teamwork model in small groups.

Classes are offered in a convenient hybrid format: one evening on campus and one online each week. The program includes internships with employers such as Publix, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Collins Aerospace. The degree is designed for applied career paths in organizational consulting or for students considering future doctoral training.

• Preferred Application Preparation - Applicants are recommended to have completed coursework such as statistics, research methods, and core psychology foundations, including examples: MAT 2022 Elementary Statistics; PSY 2206 Social Psychology; PSY 2210 Tests & Measurements; PSY 3310 Research Design & Statistics; PSY 3336 Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
